Ingredients
  

  • 2 large cooked chicken breasts sliced or shredded
  • 1 ripe avocado mashed
  • 4 large whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional
  • 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro leaves optional

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix the mashed avocado with lime juice, Greek yogurt (or sour cream), salt, and pepper to create a creamy spread.
  • Lay out the tortillas and spread the avocado mixture evenly down the center of each one.
  • Layer on the sliced chicken, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and cheddar cheese.
  • Add fresh cilantro leaves if desired.
  • Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll it up tightly to form a wrap.
  • Slice in half and serve immediately, or wrap in foil for later.

Notes

  • Use lime juice to keep the avocado from browning.
  • For best texture and flavor, consume wraps within 24 hours if pre-assembled.
  • Store components separately for up to 3 days in the fridge.
