Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds pork tenderloin or pork shoulder cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • For the Balsamic Glaze:
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Instructions

  • In a bowl, toss pork cubes with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork and sear on all sides until browned, about 6–8 minutes.
  • While pork cooks, whisk together balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
  • Reduce heat to medium, pour the balsamic glaze over the pork, and stir to coat.
  • Simmer for 3–5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the pork nuggets.
  • Remove from heat and serve warm, optionally garnished with fresh herbs.

Notes

  • Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or over rice.
  • For extra flavor, marinate pork in the seasoning mix for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Use pork tenderloin for a leaner option or shoulder for more tenderness.
