- 1.5 pounds pork tenderloin or pork shoulder cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- For the Balsamic Glaze:
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic minced
In a bowl, toss pork cubes with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork and sear on all sides until browned, about 6–8 minutes.
While pork cooks, whisk together balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
Reduce heat to medium, pour the balsamic glaze over the pork, and stir to coat.
Simmer for 3–5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the pork nuggets.
Remove from heat and serve warm, optionally garnished with fresh herbs.
- Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or over rice.
- For extra flavor, marinate pork in the seasoning mix for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Use pork tenderloin for a leaner option or shoulder for more tenderness.
