Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups 200g graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup 115g unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup 50g granulated sugar

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 8 oz 225g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup 120g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz 225g whipped topping, thawed (or homemade whipped cream)

For the Topping:

  • 1 21 oz / 595g can cherry pie filling

Instructions

Prepare the Graham Cracker Crust

  • In a medium bowl, I mix 2 cups graham cracker crumbs, ½ cup melted butter, and ¼ cup granulated sugar until it resembles wet sand. I press the mixture firmly into a 9x13-inch baking dish using a measuring cup for a compact, even base, ensuring a sturdy crust for this creamy cherry dessert.

Make the Cream Cheese Layer

  • In a large bowl, I beat 8 oz softened cream cheese until smooth, then add 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract, mixing until fluffy for a dreamy cherry layered treat.

Fold in Whipped Topping

  • I gently fold 8 oz thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture with a spatula, keeping it light and airy. I spread this over the crust, smoothing the top for this fruity no-bake delight.

Add the Cherry Topping

  • I spoon 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly for a vibrant, tangy finish that makes this Cherry Delight unforgettable.

Chill and Serve

  • I cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best) to set the layers. I slice into 12 squares and serve chilled, enjoying this creamy cherry dessert.

Notes

  • For a thicker crust, use 2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs.
  • You can substitute homemade whipped cream for whipped topping.
