Chicken BLT Sandwich is a honey mustard BLT with juicy chicken, crispy bacon, and fresh veggies. This easy recipe is perfect for quick dinners or gatherings.
2lbs900 g chicken tenders (or boneless breasts/thighs, sliced into strips)
4–5 tbsp60–75 ml vegetable oil

1tbspground cayenne pepper

½tspdried oregano
For the Butter Topping:
¼cup55 g unsalted butter, softened
1tbspfresh parsleychopped
2clovesgarlicfinely minced

8Hawaiian slider buns or soft dinner rolls
Mayonnaiseas desired
Golden mustardor honey mustard, as desired
8strips crispy cooked bacon
Colby Jack cheese slices1 per sandwich
½head lettuceiceberg or romaine

Instructions
Season the Chicken
In a large zip-top bag or bowl, I combine 2 lbs chicken tenders with 4–5 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp smoked paprika, 1 tbsp cayenne, 1 tbsp onion powder, 2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp thyme, and ½ tsp oregano, mixing to coat evenly for this honey mustard BLT.
Cook the Chicken
I heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil. I cook the chicken tenders for 3 minutes per side, flipping once, until golden and 165°F (74°C) internally. I let them rest for 5 minutes for this savory sandwich.
Prepare Butter Topping
In a small bowl, I mix ¼ cup softened butter, 1 tbsp chopped parsley, and 2 minced garlic cloves until combined for this easy recipe.
Toast the Buns
I slice 8 Hawaiian buns horizontally and place them cut-side up on a baking sheet. I broil for 1–2 minutes until golden, then flip the top buns dome-side up for this honey mustard BLT.
Assemble the Sandwiches
I spread mayonnaise on the bottom buns, add a chicken tender, a dollop of honey mustard, and a slice of Colby Jack cheese. I broil for 1–2 minutes until the cheese softens. I top with bacon, lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, and another drizzle of honey mustard for this savory sandwich.
