- 1 cup 225g unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup 150g granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup 150g packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups 285g all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups 340g semisweet chocolate chips
Cream the Butter and Sugars:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
Add the Eggs and Vanilla:
Mix the Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
Fold in the Chocolate Chips:
