- 1 cup 225 g unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 ½ cups 300 g granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- ¼ cup 60 ml fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp lemon zest
- 1 ¾ cups 210 g all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp kosher salt
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup 120 g powdered sugar
- 2 –3 tbsp 30–45 ml fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
Combine Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, I whisk 1 ¾ cups flour, ½ tsp baking powder, and ½ tsp salt. I gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined for this citrusy treat.
Make the Glaze
In a small bowl, I whisk 1 cup powdered sugar, 2–3 tbsp lemon juice, and 1 tsp zest until smooth for this citrusy treat.
