Ingredients
  

For the Dish:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs / 680g)
  • 3 tbsp 45g unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup 240ml heavy cream
  • ½ cup 50g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For Serving (Optional):

  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions
 

Prep the Chicken

  • I season 4 chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, I heat 1 tbsp olive oil, then cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F internal temperature). I remove the chicken to a plate.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

  • In the same skillet, I melt 3 tbsp butter over medium heat, add 4 minced garlic cloves, and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. I stir in 1 cup heavy cream, ½ cup Parmesan, and 1 tsp Italian seasoning, whisking until smooth and thickened (about 3–4 minutes).

Combine and Simmer

  • I return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it. I simmer for 2–3 minutes to warm through, ensuring the creamy chicken skillet is fully coated.

Serve

  • I garnish with parsley and serve hot with lemon wedges, savoring this buttery chicken dish.

• Use thick-cut bread to hold the gooey filling.
• Roast extra jalapeños and store for later.
• Substitute poblano peppers for a milder version.
